The December issue of the Morgan Horse Magazine ran an article on Paragon Jousting's use of all Morgan horses at The Connecticut Renaissance Faire this past year. The article was written by Paragon's own Becca Cooper about her new experience using Morgans for jousting. The photo in the article comes courtesy of our good friend Eric Tetreault of The Connecticut Renaissance Faire.

Two great new pieces of news...
Paragon is Moving!
The 2004 season is behind us, but we're still working. Paragon Jousting is moving its base of operations to Massachusetts. As of January 2005, the Paragon horses will be moving from the stables in Maine to their new home in Massachusetts.
New member of the team
We are also happy to announce a new member of the team. Scott and Brenda have purchased a new horse. He's a 16.1 hand registered Quarterhorse gelding. This buckskin is a former rodeo horse and a barrel racer from Texas. His registered name is Exclusive Triple Dee, but we'll be calling him Diablo. Scott and Brenda put him through the paces before purchase, testing him for suitability for jousting. This horse is all business. We have high hopes for Diablo, look for him at a joust near you in 2005! We'll have some pictures and his profile posted soon.

The first two weekends of CTRF are already behind us, and only two are left to go. This will likely be the last chance to see us this year, so be sure to come down to CTRF! Jousting fully "in the round" has been an exciting experience, and we learn something new with each show. We make modifications each weekend to improve the shows and keep the audience on their toes. The joust you see each day may be different from the one before. Of course, we have something special planned for the final weekend.
Also, more pictures in our gallery thanks to many of our friends.

The first weekend of CTRF is over. The crowds were great and responsive and everyone loved the work we did integrating the horses and signature armored combat for which ATP is well known.
Special thanks to our good friend Dave Bianchi who took some fantastic pictures of opening weekend at CTRF and has given us permission to share them with you. They're up in the gallery.

A webmaster's work is never done. Okay, got one more bio up there. And hey, what's that over there? Is that a photo gallery? Easiest one I've ever managed I tell ya. (I think someone's a little tired.) Okay, more and more pictures will get put up as we get to looking through them. The ones that are there now, may not be there later. It was a sample we through up there to test the script and I expect it will keep changing. But check it out. Feedback is always welcome to

We've been hard at work since we last wrote. We've got three new bios up on the performers page. Well, okay, we've got two and some lame excuse from the webmaster. Only three weeks until the Connecticut Renaissance Faire opens. We're very excited. Keep checking back to learn a little about our equine performers and the rest of the humans too.

It's been three weeks since the official launch of our site. If you've been here often, you've seen some small changes along the way. Well, we've also added some new content with more on the way (if the webmaster learns some time management). The first piece is not readily evident but if you go to our Credits page, you'll see there's a link to the bio for Owner and Head Jouster, Scott Rodlin. So have a peek and keep checking back for new profiles and our photo gallery.

Hail and well met. Welcome to the Paragon Jousting and Adventure Theater official web site. We're just getting started and we're looking forward to our future.
We have recently completed a successful run at the Vermont Renaissance Festival. We provided a mid-day gaming joust, and a fully armored joust at the end of the day. It was a two horse joust integrated with armored combat, thanks to our friends at the Autumn Tree Armored Combat Company. We would also like to thank the members of Roundtable Productions who joined us in Vermont for this important premier show.
Now that Vermont is behind us, we are looking ahead to out next engagement at The Connecticut Renaissance Faire, running September 25th through October 17 including Columbus Day. We will again be performing a mid day gaming joust and an armored joust at the end of the day. This final show will again see the ATACC fighters in the field with us, and no end of mayhem at the hands of Viking raiders. Be sure to see us there!
Just like our joust troupe, this web site will keep growing. Keep an eye out for our photo gallery which we'll be building over the next few weeks. We'll also be putting up profiles for some of our members. Come back often and we'll see you at the Faire.
