Andy Hitchcock

Copyright 2004-2010 Paragon Jousting, LLC

Andy Hitchcock joined the Paragon Jousting team in 2008, bringing with him a vast wealth of experience both in horse handling as well as blacksmithing and the manufacture of armor and swords.

Andy started blacksmithing in 2002, apprenticing with a well known New York blacksmith who made and sold swords at renaissance faires. Andy has been a metalworker since a very young age, and is currently working with master blacksmith Durand Van Dorn.

In addition to utilizing the horse handling experience gained working with the Hitchcock family driving business, Andy builds and repairs armor and weapons for the Paragon Knights.

He is currently in training with Scott to learn armored combat (and building his suit of armor along the way) and now participates in horse-to-ground Crest and Baton contests wielding a pollaxe against the mounted knights. Look for Andy performing in shows as Edward Mainsley.
