Ares

Ares came to Paragon Jousting in the fall of 2009. He is a Warlander (Friesian/Andalusian cross) foaled in 2004. This gelding is a fancy and flashy boy with a very sweet personality. He currently stands about 16.2 and is really filling out to be a powerful Friesian.

Ares spent his first two years at Paragon Stables working on his saddle training. In July of 2011, Becca debuted him as both a parade horse and a saddle seat show horse. He was a rock star at the parade and won 1st and 2nd place ribbons in his first horse show classes. This talented horse is well into his joust training and debuted as a Master of the List mount during the 2011 fall jousting tour.
