Becca Cooper

Becca Cooper has been with Paragon Jousting for four years. Since 2004, she has jousted across New England, New York, New Jersey, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Becca has made use of her horse handling and training experience to take the leading role in training of all of Paragon Jousting's horses; teaching new skills to the established jousting steeds and starting new horses. Among the 2007 accomplishments, was training Shadow to joust and beginning Checker's saddle training. Becca is usually seen jousting as Dame Fiona, the puppy killing, orphan making, evil knight of Orkney.

Becca has been riding, driving and training horses for fifteen years. She began with Morgans at a show barn in Eliot, Maine. As a competitive rider, Becca has shown saddle seat, hunt seat and pleasure driving at the state and regional level. She was named New England Morgan Youth of the Year in 2000 and 2002 and has placed in Horse Judging, Horse Bowl and Youth of the Year contests at the Grand National and World Championships.

In May of 2007, Becca graduated from Wells College with a B.A. in Performing Arts with a concentration in theatre and dance. As an actress, Becca has performed in a variety of works from Shakespeare to Jane Martin. For three years she was a member of The New Hampshire Theater Project Company. In 2002, she was nominated for "Best Supporting Actress" at The New Hampshire Theatre Awards and won "Best Youth Performance" for her company's work in Macbeth.
