Checker

Checker was discovered by Scott while the team was in Wisconsin jousting in the summer of 2007. Checker lived at a local farm known for breeding great barrel racers. Scott went and saw the herd a couple of times, reviewing a few candidates. After returning to the Northeast to finish the Fall season, Scott decided to purchase Checker and had him transported to New York to begin his training.

Checker has never been under saddle, and as such is a 'Blank Slate'. Jousting will be the only job he has ever known. Scott and Becca are working with him regularly, and he is progressing very quickly. Watch for updates!

Checker is a Chestnut Quarter Horse, 6 years old, and he stands 16 hands high.
