David "Puck" Dowd
David "Puck" Dowd has been performing in Renaissance Faires as an actor and stage combatant since 1998, first as part of the cast for The Maine Renaissance Faire, including roles from a potato farmer to Sir Francis Drake. He then moved on to work at The Connecticut Renaissance Faire in 2002, playing the role of Merlin for 2 years before taking over the role of Sir Lamorak, Prince of Wales.
Having grown up on a farm, Puck already knew how to ride when he came to Paragon Jousting. From there he learned the skills of a knight. He has slain many a bail of hay with a spear, slaughtered melons and heads of lettuce beyond count with sword and received numerous tutorials on the proper use of pitchforks and wheelbarrows... which they insist is vital for any aspiring knight to learn to wield properly.
Once these knightly skills had been mastered he took his place as one of the Paragon Jousting Knights, first jousting in 2005. He may also be seen in the saddle serving as Master of the List. Look for him on the field jousting under his family colors of green and gold.
