Heidi Bergheimer

Heidi Begheimer, a New England native, joined Paragon Jousting in 2010. A veteran cast performer and stage fighter, Heidi comes to Paragon Jousting with over 5 years experience entertaining audiences at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. Known for her energetic, flashy fighting technique and truly memorable street interactions, Heidi is a welcome addition to the team.

Heidi joined the team already having riding experience, so Scott and Becca quickly put her in the saddle and began her training. She made her mounted performing debut at Aurorafest 2010 riding Apollo and acting as Master of the List for this show.

Scott knew from years of working alongside Heidi in New England that she had a strong talent for fighting, so upon her arrival at Paragon Stables in New York, Scott began training her for full contact armored combat. Within a couple months the two were trading hits and bruises in full plate armor.

She also came to Paragon Jousting with a background in Fine Arts, so Scott wasted no time drafting Heidi's assistance on the creative side, from concept illustrations and painted signs to makeup and helping shape the look of the new "Halloween Knights" show debuting at CTRF 2010.

Watch for Heidi in the 2010 season performing as Blair, Lady of Orleans. You'll see her either on horse or fighting on foot in one of Paragon Jousting's signature armored combat demonstrations.
