Missy Hitchcock
Missy Hitchcock met Becca in 2007, and started working with Paragon Jousting in 2008. She came to Paragon Jousting with a lifetime of experience working with horses and riders.
Missy began riding at the age of 14, riding hunter jumper style. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri with a major in equestrian science. She took courses in riding instruction at Fox Hollow Farm equestrian center in Pennsylvania, and went on to manage various horse farms during her career, also giving hunt seat riding instructions at a Girl Scouts camp in Ohio.
In 2002 she returned to New York, attending Cazenovia College and working at the Buffalo equestrian center, and later at a horse retirement farm. In 2003 she returned to the Aurora area and began working with the draft horses at the Hitchcock carriage and coach service.
Her substantial experience with both riding and driving horses, as well as a background in teaching and equestrian science makes her a front line horse handler when the team is on the road. Watch for her performing as "Grace," Fiona's evil squire, at shows.
