Take the Field with Paragon Jousting in 2008

Emily Howland Elementary School, Friday, February 29th, Aurora, NY: Paragon Jousting director, Scott Rodlin will be speaking on Friday, February 29th at the Emily Howland Elementary School in Aurora, NY. Scott, better known as Sir Devon Farrel of York, will be speaking to students in grades K through 4 about the life of a Knight in the middle ages. Joining Scott for this appearance will be Paragon Jousting squire Jennie Huling known on the field as Sophia Rainn.

A Celebration of Celts, Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, Chatham, NY: Paragon Jousting will be returning to A Celebration of Celts in Chatham, NY. Only 30 minutes from the state capital in Albany, Celebration of Celts is the largest Pan-Celtic event in the northeast saluting all eight Celtic nations; Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, Wales, Isle Of Man, Brittany in France and Asturias and Galicia in Spain. We're looking forward to this Hudson Valley showcase of Celtic tradition.

Wisconsin Renaissance Faire, Saturdays and Sundays, June 14-15 through July 12-13, Chippewa Falls, WI: Paragon Jousting returns to the Midwest the 2008 Wisconsin Renaissance Faire. We had an amazing time in Wisconsin last year, meeting new people, gaining new audiences and making new friends. We've been looking forward to this return since we got back. We're excited to be returning this summer.

Fitch's Corner Horse Trials, July 26, Millbrook, NY: USEA Sanctioned Horse Trials & CIC* Division are being held over three days at Fitch's Corner in Millbrook, NY and Paragon Jousting has been asked to perform during the trials. More than 250 competitors and 2500 spectators come to this event annually. We are very proud and honored to be asked to perform for these equine professionals. We will be performing three times during the day culminating with a performance for the Eventing-World Glitterati at the Blue Jeans Ball.

Treasure Equestrian Center Renaissance Faire, Saturday and Sunday, August 2-3, Manchester, ME: Paragon Jousting will be joining many of our familiar New England friends at the first Treasure Equestrian Center Renaissance Faire in beautiful Manchester, Maine.

September 2008

The Great New York State Faire, Monday, September 1, Syracuse, NY: Paragon Jousting has been asked to perform on the final day of 162nd Annual The Great New York State Faire in Syracuse, NY. The Faire starts on August 21 and ends on Labor Day, September 1. We're very proud to be a new part of this great tradition.

Salisbury University, Saturday, September 20, Salisbury, MD: Paragon Jousting will be entertaining the Salisbury University community at the 'Family Fun' weekend, where friends and family of the students are welcome to come visit this grand old university.

The Connecticut Renaissance Faire, Saturdays and Sundays, September 27-28 through October 18-19, Monday, September 29 and Columbus Day, October 13, Hebron, CT: Paragon Jousting will be returning to The Connecticut Renaissance Faire for our 5th straight year. 2008 marks the 10th year of CTRF and we look forward to whatever surprises they have in store. Paragon Jousting will be there for shows on Columbus Day (Monday, October 13 and a special half day show for schools on Monday September 29. The annual school day has become a great tradition at CTRF and there are special discounts opening weekend. See the CTRF website for more information.
